Why a Local Internal Medicine Physician Trusts Dr. Greg’s Scientific Approach to Hearing Care

Dr. Beroukhim is an internal medicine physician.

She immigrated to America due to an infection, which resulted in her losing much of her hearing. She first visited Dr. Greg, as he was one of the only audiologists on Los Angeles’s list that she could use her UCLA insurance with.

Although she previously had another audiologist, Dr. Beroukhim shared how Dr. Greg’s strong scientific background makes him stand out from the others.

“In my experience, most of the audiologists I have worked with are kind people, understanding, and while they’re good at what they do, Dr. Greg has a strong scientific background.”

As a fellow medical professional, Dr. Beroukhim shares how Dr. Greg regularly shares scientific articles to questions and is always at the cutting-edge of developments in the world of hearing care.

She then gave an example of how Dr. Greg regularly goes above and beyond to support his patients. “He goes out of his way to make appointments for people who don’t have normal hours. So, I work crazy hours in the hospital and he will come at 6:00 AM in the morning if that’s the only time I can make it, and that’s unnecessary and very nice.”

When asked how Dr. Greg and hearing technology has impacted her life, she replied, “I would like to think it’s made me a more empathetic person. I don’t want to say now I understand everyone’s problems because of this thing I have, but I think to people who still try to put a foot ahead in the world despite whatever challenges they have, I think it’s just given me a layer of admiration for those people. And yes, there are challenges with it, but it’s to me, it’s no different than most people’s burdens and maybe that’s because I have hearing aids, so like I have a technology that can help me.”

Finally, Dr. Beroukhim was asked what her advice would be to you (somebody considering scheduling your first appointment with Dr. Greg at Pacific Hearing Inc.).

Her answer was short and sweet.
